There's a memorial on the bridge, I think it's called Pheasant's Nest Bridge, on the Hume Highway travelling south (out of Campbelltown). It's for the two boys who disappeared and were found dead in a pylon.

Very sad situation. The entry way to the inspection accessway they entered which led to their deaths (they fell some distance in the pylon), should have been padlocked. It was an access which was only used by engineers to check the bridge condition in case of earthquake or similar event. After a minor earthquake, or during regular checking, the boy's bodies were found.

I don't recall the full story of what happened. Though some people I know have expressed their doubt that it was "just an accident".

You can climb inside the Mooney Mooney bridge if you're small enough, I know people who have.
