Stupid ?
Yesterday's Daily Telegraph ran this image of a billboard outside an Anglican church in the City,
JESUS does indeed love Osama bin Laden - it is just that he does not approve of him or his line of work. The head of the Anglican church in New South Wales has said "there is a truth" to a Baptist parish's billboard declaration that "Jesus loves Osama", but love does not necessarily translate to approval.
However I was somewhat surprised to find the same billboard in the north western suburbs outside an Anglican church (click image). As I was capturing the image a tradesman in a passing utility slowed and yelled, 'Tear that bloody thing down !'.
Certainly the message can be deemed provocative but I also wondered at the choice of a military camouflage background and how that squares with 'love'. Call me stupid..?

It certainly provokes a response which I suspect is the idea..... It is so hard to get publicity these days that these are the things you need to do to get anything for free!
My wife recently started a new business and sent a press release out to the various media outlets.... NOTHING. Adrian even turned me down for advertising on this very site!!!
Now if my wife said Osama's wife was a customer.... NOW THAT MIGHT GET SOME PRESS!!!!
LET ME TRY THAT!!!!
Don't so sure if I want the CIA buggin our home however.......

Tradesman commenting on anything political is always funny... If it wasn't for tradesman then that child bothering Alan Jones would probably lose 90% of his support base.

James, some of us dumb tradesmen run companies with multimillion dollar turnovers. Do you earn as much as Alan Jones ?. Maybe you don't like the fact that tradesmen generally have a pretty good bull-dust meter. I have no idea what you do for a living but I wouldn't rubbish it anyway. What does plural mean ?.

Not really sure what is wrong with being a TRADESPERSON.... However I am a white collar worker - Desktop IT Analyst.
Personally I think the tradespeople on our site earn about 30-40% more than me......
WHITECOLLAR is the new poverty!!!!
