R.B.Williams
Last night it seemed every female I carried was either going to, or had been to see Robbie Bloody Williams. What is it with that bloke ? I wouldn’t be surprised if all my drooling passengers regarded Williams as their perfect man, with their own special bond.
Williams had the same effect on Sydney three years ago. Once again the joint was literally glowing with love and goodwill as thousands of women flocked to the concert then partied late into the night. Even women who’d waited four hours, yes four hours at Fox Studios for a taxi home were upbeat. Sure they had a light-hearted whinge climbing into the cab but soon forgot it when I asked about the concert.
And various fellas I carried didn’t seem to mind their partners deserting them to attend the Williams concert. Left alone on a Saturday night they took the opportunity for a boys night out at the pub, the dogs, card nights, etc.
The interesting thing was so few men attended the concert, despite William’s talent in producing regular hits, many of which speak to men. I’ll leave that for Sam de Brito to analyse. Meanwhile Robbie Bloody Williams performs again tonight.

uh-uuuh - not my cup of tea, the music or the guy.
