Yeah, asking for some kind of expert opinion before completely accepting that a widely-reported story about an ambulance being damaged in an attack is a complete hoax... that's clearly a "ridiculous position".
Pity Blair can't read. I wasn't defending the stories. I wasn't defending the media. I was simply saying "this looks bad for them - I'd like to see their response".
But it's been fun dealing with his idiot hordes. No, not "fun". "Depressing".

Lefty, stop digging ! You had two-bob each way when it was totally unwarranted. Expert opinion ? Rubbish, every man and his dog can see a missile neither hit the van nor exploded anywhere near it. Yet your inherent bias writ large does not allow you to see the bleeding obvious.
If nothing else, check the age of the rust. Anyone who's ever owned a second hand car can tell the ambulance damage is weeks old. Moreover, why the deafening silence from your legion of readers/supporters ? Nor the fact this incident, initially so damaging to Israel has not since been proliferated by their media critics ? Because it's so blatantly fake it's embarrassing. No experts needed.

I had a bob mostly the way you see it, but with a cautious caveat. You know - being skeptical in the way the media ought to have been.
Obviously not "every man and his dog" can see what you think they can see, or the story would never have had the traction that it did.
